Restoration Work Week: June 3 through June 7, 2024. Come and work on the railroad. We can use your computer skills, woodworking skills, manual labor, painting, etc. Lots of fun work for everyone. Lunch provided. Sept 21-22, 2024- Ouray County Railroad Days . This weekend event includes a Museum open house, opportunity to ride Motor No. 1 as well as Goose No. 4 on Saturday and Sunday. There will be a talk on "TBA" on Saturday at 7:00 pm
Operating Sessions:
RGS Motor
No. 1, RGS Goose No. 4 and RGS Inspection Car No. 1
will operate on Saturdays May
through October. Public Presentations. The Museum has a number of community activities including presentations to elementary school classes in Ridgway, Ouray, Telluride and Montrose as well as talks in the Ouray Evenings in History series and at the Ridgway State Park. Weekly Work
Sessions. There
are weekly work sessions from 9:00 AM til noon on
every Tuesday (May through October). At these work
sessions there are a number of projects suitable for
all ability levels.
